Job Summary:

As a Psychotherapist at Our Community Mental Health Solutions, you will be responsible for providing therapeutic services to clients, conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. Your expertise will contribute to the mental health and well-being of our community members.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

1. Conduct individual, group, and/or family therapy sessions.

2. Perform comprehensive clinical assessments to determine clients' therapeutic needs.

3. Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans tailored to individual client needs.

4. Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with regulatory standards.

5. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and agencies to coordinate care.

6. Participate in regular supervision, team meetings, and professional development activities.

7. Adhere to ethical guidelines and professional standards of practice.

 

Job Requirements:

 

1. Education & Licensure:

   - Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or related field.

   - Current licensure as a Psychotherapist or Clinical Social Worker in the state of Nevada.

 

2. Experience:

   - Minimum of 2 months of experience providing psychotherapy services.

   - Experience working with diverse populations and addressing a range of mental health issues.

 

3. Skills & Competencies:

   - Strong clinical assessment and therapeutic intervention skills.

   - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

   - Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.

   - Knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic approaches and interventions.

 

4. Certifications & Trainings:

   - Certification in specialized therapeutic modalities (e.g., CBT, DBT, EMDR) is a plus.

   - Ongoing professional development and continuing education in the field of psychotherapy.

 

5. Personal Qualities:

   - Empathetic and compassionate approach to client care.

   - Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and ethical standards.

   - Ability to build therapeutic relationships and establish trust with clients.

 

Physical Requirements:

- Ability to sit, stand, and engage in therapeutic activities for extended periods.

- Flexibility to accommodate evening or weekend appointments as needed.
